Hi, My wife is having problems with her PC. I am trying to help, but unfortunately I am not that skilled and her PC is in Japanese and has a different windows version from my laptop (making comparing one to the other whilst navigating through menus a little difficult)...I can`t see a similar issue on this forum, so am posting this in want of some help.... Basically every minute or two an application flashes up in the task bar...as it does so it interrupts whatever is being done on the PC...as it happens so fast I have had to video the screen and use slo-mo to get a shot of the icon - looks like some joker has written some malware that pokes fun at you (see attachment for a screen shot). I cannot notice any services that run during / immediately after this thing pops up that were not running before.....is there anything else I should try to identify this? The laptop runs Windows 7, and is relatively clean being only 2 weeks old. Thanks.
