  2. I always have it checked and my times aren't affected at all by "scan for rootkits" and i keep it checked forbid i get "rootkits" but thats just me

They probably didn't expect the forums to be hacked so it must have been a low priority for them to update it to stop the hacks from happening and after it was hacked theyre probably regreting that they didn't update the necessary software that needed to be updated if that was the case in this situation
  4. That sucks but im sure Glad i use bitdefender free since ive had avast & it let viruses,etc into my pc & no issues since switching to bitdefender
  5. the malwarebytes installers still have their issues with installs from clean install/having to run the installer twice to get left over icon off computers a hassle..hope they can fix these issues with the installers ive had 2 times already... so far no issues with the program though..can't post pics of it though
  6. I agree with all of you..i dont look at it 99.9% of the time so the ui doesn't bother me but may bother others.. :-)
  7. no issues with both 2.0 versions besides what i stated in the 2.0.2 update post but my hyper/threat scans are under 10 min and down 2+ hours onn custom so i think updatngs a good idea like john said

  9. it basically means it will ask you to update to 2.0.2 when they start pushing it out threw the malwarebytes program (internal updater is when you update your database and it updates it and also the internal updater will tell you when the update for 2.0.2 is available when you click "check for updates" and ask then it'll ask you to download newest version 2.0.2)
  10. i had problems reinstalling the newest 2.0.2 version with reboot but got it fixed with a second uninstall and re install and now works super fast 5-30 minute scan times in threat scan/hyper scan and 1 hour 45 minutes or less for a custom scan so times have dropped dramatically with the newest version...thanks

  13. Ive personally helped friends,family,etc remove alot of infections 1,000+ total between viruses,pups,registry,etc under my belt with free version/pro on some.. ;-)
  14. I meant i check the sites url on multiple sites to see if the sites safe before i go foward or not
  15. i have personally seen this plenty of times on sites i regular and i check them/don't enter them because i dont wanna risk it and thought id share it

  19. i also saw somewhere that android phones/tablets running android 4.1.1 are also vulnerable (cant remember what security site i saw it on) so it is not just open ssl,websites,etc..

  22. Daily after database update (never made it scan this much until this version & same settings as last version) but when updating it starting scanning every 1-20+ minutes and ive done everything and its not working
  23. i updated to the new malwarebytes anti malware mobile on my lg optimus f6 running android 4.1.2 and it is now scanning my phone every 3-30+ minutes or so and tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothings fixing it and it was fine in previous version and wasn't scanning this much..hope this bug gets fixed asap
  24. I follow hacking organizations,bitdefender,other hacking/security news people/pages to get that info before malwarebytes posts it so and didn't have a account til i made one since my old one was accidently deleted ..next time i will post it once i see it first.. :-)
