  1. I could use Premium Plus, but the VPN Speed is too slow. I have 100 Mbit without VPN and only 44 Mbit with it ... I don´t see a point, using it at this time. The VPN Speed was okay during the non-public beta. But now...
  2. I use windows 10 and unistalled Malwarebytes 5.x a week ago and everything went well.
  3. I have not Malwarebytes running in the background. I have not Malwarebytes start with windows. But, Malwarebytes is still installed. I can open it, and everything works the way it should work. Here is the problem: If Malwarebytes does not start with windows, and is not running in the background, and I choose to scan a folder with Malwarebytes, using the right mouse button nothing happens. I thought Malwarebytes would start and scan that folder.
  4. please change (at least) this one word: too many "i" -> please change it to "Übersicht" Thank you!
  5. Thank you for this info. I think, this is what I did - after 5 minutes.
  6. After 5 minutes everything went back to normal (and I did a restart after that, just to make sure everything is fine).
  7. right now, I got version 5.0.6.53 after/during the update I saw this: for 5 minutes I got 3 Malwarebytes icons - and I saw no message or something like it, that there is a update going on... ...
  8. I still got the same connection error like brad03 described in his first post. Every time after a restart, after coming back from power saving mode - it´s just the first time I click on Malwarebytes in the tray icon. In my opinion it would be better to write "establishing connection ..." if the problem lasts longer than 10 seconds, you can tell the user that there is a connection error. The way it is right now, it may look more confusing, because there is no problem, it just takes a few seconds for Malwarebytes to connect. (Version 5.0.5.51 CU 1.0.923)
  9. If you mean the update to 5.0.5.51, restart Malwarebytes and try it again. It took me 4 times till I could update.
  10. I just wanted to point out that there is something not working on the order process. I am fine with my subscription. Thank you.
  11. No matter which option I choose, I always end up here: https://my.malwarebytes.com/overview I guess "buy now" should get you somewhere else... maybe here: https://www.malwarebytes.com/pricing If I choose to Purchase a subscription, and choose Premium + VPN 5 devices, I can not change the number of devices afterwards. it´s just 5 ... If I choose Premium without VPN, I can change how many devices I want.
  12. I see it similar. In my opinion, it´s just too much. You would need more free space to present a background. But let´s think a differnt way... In the near future, would it be possible to modify Malwarebytes yourself, by choosing your own background or colors? (I don´t know if there is a easy way to handle this.)
  13. Last night I did a clean install. So far so good. I will first install all the software I need and then (maybe when Malwarebytes 5 is ready) install Malwarebytes. Right now I keep it with Defender and some Browser extensions (like Browser Guard and Bitdefender Traffic light) to stay safe. @AdvancedSetup thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it. I never thought it would "hit me" like this, it has to be good for something. New year - new Windows. I will mark it as solved, even if I have not Malwarebytes installed yet - it should work :-)
  14. Maybe it´s time to set up Windows new... I don´t want it, but it feels like there is something wrong. report_2023.01.11_22.48.52.txt
  15. Thank you for your help. Here are those two logs. I did the repair with the Support Tool, the only thing that happend, the support tool disappeared. Fixlog.txt mbst-grab-results.zip
  16. I don´t know how to uninstall Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes is not running in the background anymore. It´s not in the list of applications, if I use I get an error: If I use the Malwarebytes Support Tool to clean it - the tool runs but nothing happens. I could delete the Malwarebytes folder??
  17. In my opinion Malwarebytes was not working the way it should. Every time I opend Malwarebytes in the tray icon, it took almost 15 seconds to open and during that time, it said "Real-time Protection disabled". I decided to do a clean install again, using the support tool... now I got the same situation I had before: I can not deinstall Malwarebytes anymore. I attached all the logs I could find. Mabye there is something that was missed in the first run? Addition.txt FRST.txt SecurityCheck.txt mbst-grab-results.zip mbst-clean-results1.txt
  18. Before your post, I did deinstall the Intel Rapid Storage stuff, because I don´t need it. After that, I changed the DNS Server (and restartet) and updated a Intel Driver. Here are the logs. Malwarebytes_threat_scan.txt SecurityCheck.txt mbst-grab-results.zip
  19. (after two restarts) If I open Malwarebytes using the tray icon, it takes 12 seconds to open and during that time I get a warning "Realtime Protection Disabled" - once opend - everything is fine. mbst-grab-results.zip FRST.txt Addition.txt
  20. All went well - that´s what I thought. If I register Malwarebytes in the Windows Security Center, Defender is still on. In the Task Manager Defender is still activ. A restart has not changed anything. If I remove the registration of Malwarebytes in the Sec. Center - everything looks the way it was before (like normal). Fixlog.txt
  21. Thank you for your patience. Here are the english logs. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  22. A couple hours ago I did delete all Malwarebytes folders and after that, ran the support tool: no Malwarebytes Application found. I still wonder, if something is wrong. I never ever had this kind of problem before in all those years. And I wonder if I missed something to deinstall. Here are the logs. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  23. After the last restart there is no Malwarebytes Service running anymore. But the Malwarebytes icon is still there and the support tool is still not able to uninstall the Malwarebytes stuff... and I get the error above.
