  1. Thanks. My first result when installing was a BSOD. Install didn't even complete. Upon reboot, I temporarily disabled MBAE's protection and was able to install correctly. Reenabled MBAE afterwards. Later, François
  2. Hi. I'm thinking of installing Zemana free anti-logger. Compatible with latest MBAE premium? Unnecessary? Thanks! François
  3. Edit: will start a new thread, sorry.
  4. Update: Tried a fresh FF profile with no success. Tried a new Windows user profile with no success. Older FF versions and older flash versions neither. Installed Pale Moon, a FF based browser, but no luck either. Strange because under Linux, FF and flash run great. Regards, François
  5. Hi Pedro. No, never had EMET installed since I reinstalled Windows last week. (it's fully updated if you're wondering)
  6. Hi again. Didn't take days to get lockups again. Disabling flash's own hardware acceleration didn't help either. Disabling MBAE and MBAM neither. So far the only cure seems to remove flash altogether. Regards, François
  7. Thanks Pedro. I reinstalled the Adobe Flash player again, but this time disabled hardware acceleration in FF, as suggested by daledoc1. Will report back in a few days. Cheers! François
  8. Hi again. No KIS here. (just updated my signature) I first completely removed Adobe Flash Player, et voilà, no more hangs! So for me it seems Flash was really the culprit. FWIW, I replaced FF with Chrome, which uses its own player, and it works great. Merry Christmas! Joyeux Noël!
  9. Thanks daledoc1, I'll try these settings. I also thought about MBAM, but one thing at a time. It's indeed probably more a FF issue.
  10. Re this (now closed) thread: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/162445-solved-crashing-firefox/ The config trick given at post #5 didn't solve my problem. I had a couple of lockups this afternoon. These lockups are during between 5 and 10 seconds. Best regards, and Happy Christmas Eve everybody!
  11. Thanks! I have experienced these freezes and also thought it was related to MBAE, so I'm happy it isn't! Best! François
  12. I can see an enlargement of the GUI in the french translation as well. TIA! François
  13. The installer (at least the 1016 build) should ask you if you want to enable the free trial or not. Seems you clicked on yes.
  14. Thanks for the explanation. Makes sense indeed.
  15. By the way, what was wrong with the 1.75 UI so that you wanted to change it? Just a marketing reason? I like the revamped model above, but would be perfectly comfortable with the 1.75 UI as well. (or even better) Thanks!

  17. You can deactivate the license to run in free mode. (no real-time protecton) That way you won't get that notification.
  18. IMHO, Emsisoft is solid enough to be used standalone, or only with MBAE. I'd run MBAM in free mode, doing occasional on-demand scans only.
  19. Thanks Ron. I already provided feedback in the beta threads. So I have one year left to see what comes up with the next releases then. Honestly, I don't have functional problems with the new version, it's just that I really dislike the new GUI. Best regards, François
  20. Where can I get the 1.75 installer please? I dislike the new version and want to get back to 1.75. Thanks in advance. François
