  1. I have uninstalled on 3 of my machines. After seeing that there was a fix, I download Malwarebytes from their web site, then clicked on "current" to get the latest version. Malwarebytes remembered my License. Then got the message the Web Protection disable. Got message unable to contact server. Checked Malwarebytes in Services and found it was stuck at "Stopping". Rebooted PC and everything came up and seem stable now. Will let run for 24 hours. If not further problems, then will reinstall on other computers.
  2. Let's try this again. Hopefully, this is what you need. MBAE Ticket-Barkley.zip
  3. An added thought: MBAE has been working since we started this thread. As far as I'm concerned, we can close this ticket. However, if I can be of help to you in improving the product, please don't hesitate to call on me.
  4. Hopefully, I've done this correctly. mbae-support.exe - mbae-default.log - attachedMBAE Services - AutomaticEvent Viewer - Now you're getting to my limit of expertise. I haven't worked with Event View for years. I exported what I think is correct and the file extension was *.evtx. Your forum blocked the upload. I'm going to need some help exporting what you need from Windows 10. mbae-default.log
  5. Yesterday, when I reinstall MBAE, I created a PDF with screen prints and comments. Created a reply to this topic and attached PDF file. Thought everything was OK and signed out. Forgot to Post the Reply and deleted the PDF file. Boy, am I feeling foolish!!!!
  6. Attached log from successful install. Should have posted from failed install, but didn't think of that at the time. Still trying to get familiar with this forum. My apologies! unins000.zip
  7. OS: Windows 10 - MBAE Pro Noticed from tme to time Icon in Tray is missing and unable to tell if protection is enabled. When I click on the MBAE exe file, nothing happens. Task Manager shows MBAE Running. Uninstalled MBAE via Control Panel. Reinstall goes normally, but can execute MBAE.exe file nor is there a tray icon. Uninstalled again. Can't delete C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Malware Anti-Exploit - receive message: "Action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program." Checked AppData folder. Can't find any reference to Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit in Regedit or any combination of that search. Tech support sent me a mbae uninstall tool when machine was Windows 8.1 which sort of worked. Unfortunately, I can't located that file to see if it works in Windows 10 and haven't been able to find it on this forum or Malwarebytes home pages Would appreciate any help. Like what the program is supposed to do, but if it isn't consistent then might as well cancel my subscription. Dan Barkley
  8. With version 1, Malwarebytes used to update the data base engine automatically in the background. With Version 2, I am constantly being prompted to update the database engine. Is there a way of getting Malwarebytes to just update without my needing to answer a prompt. I am running Malwarebytes on a Windows 8.1 pc.
