  1. I am not completely sure what infection it was as malwarebytes would not install... is there perhaps a rootkit/rogue sweeper program to use as a warm up to M.B.? I have a dell latitude here with me I brought home that still has the problem. I decided to try tonight to find a speedy solution for this infection... I have made an image of the system with the infection in place so I am going to remove with a few diff methods... Suggestions for automation? Not concerned with speed. In example, if one prog will run for 6 days (harsh) but is completely automated versus, 1.5 hours of physical time on pin point logs etc then the 6 day approach would be the winner. Winner winner chicken dinner! Ne one else see 21? Not bad! Alright thanks origin!
  2. I have a computer repair shop. We have purchased for our customers over 230 licenses to date. In the last week, being only Monday today, we have seen MalwareBytes fail significantly. It appears that over 90% of the infections moved Sunday and Monday, simply disabled MalwareBytes from even running, sometimes installing. As amazing software as it was, hence our somewhat large licensing, is this the future of malware? Simply disable the best apps from running? We have used this software for years, sad to see that this might be the end? Who else has seen this? Is there a work around? What are others feeling/thinking? Naturally there are other ways to remove such malware and this has not slown us down. I thought I would just ask before I completely abandon this approach that has served me so well for so long. Thanks again to all, Confused! BOb
