  1. Sorry, I didn't know that was something which shouldn't be enabled for standard use. I will disable it, and run future scans in normal mode as suggested.
  2. I ran the standard scan which is available to select on the home page of the free version of Malwarebytes [229876 objects were scanned]. I have checked the security settings, and 'scan for rootkits' is enabled, so I can only assume this was enabled at the time of the original scan which detected the threat.
  3. That's fine, it's not an app I use so I'll just move on from it. Thank you for your help.
  4. Thank you for your reply. I have tried to restore the file but I get a pop-up box saying 'Unable to restore one or more quarantined items: Access is denied.'
  5. Thank you for your reply. I have updated Malwarebytes and run a manual scan, and there were no threats found. What should I do with the Trojan.Amadey file which was originally placed in quarantine, should this be restored or deleted?
  6. Hello I'm hoping you might be able to help me. While running a manual scan yesterday Malwarebytes detected Trojan.Amadey in what looks like the Microsoft Your Phone app location. I have quarantined the trojan found, updated Malwarebytes, and re-run a manual scan today, and there is nothing malicious detected. Norton 360 didn't alert me to the trojan before Malwarebytes detected it during the scan. I have also run a scan on Norton 360, and this too is clear of any threats. I am unsure if I should delete the item quarantined in Malwarebytes? Or if there is anything else I need to do to check that my computer is safe to use? I have attached the Malwarebytes Scan, FRST, and Additions logs. Thank you in advance for your help. Addition.txt FRST.txt Malwarebytes Scan.txt
  7. Hello I don’t believe there is anything else I require, I’m very happy that all of the scans we’ve gone through have either detected nothing or resolved small issues. Is there anything else I need to do?
  8. Hello I have updated Adobe Air and Microsoft Edge. I have also run a full system scan with Norton 360 and no threats were found - log attached. Norton Log.txt
  9. Hello Thank you for advising there is no infection! Please find attached a copy of the Security Check log. SecurityCheck.txt
  10. Hello The Eset scan detected no threats, log attached. Eset Log.txt
  11. Hello Please find attached a copy of the Microsoft Safety Scanner log as requested. I'm not sure if this is an issue but before the scan finished it stated it detected 8 items, but only one 1 seems to have been removed when the scan finished? msert.log
  12. Hello I was editing content online and had succefully saved what I was doing, but I wasnt trying to leave the page when the pop-up appeared I was reading something and it just tried to leave the page of its own accord. Please find attached copies of my Malwarebytes, and Adwcleaner logs. I have also followed all other steps outlined in your link. Malwarebytes Log.txt AdwCleaner[C00].txt
  13. Hello Yes, this was on Windows 10, and I was using Google Chrome browser. I do have the standard (free) version of Malwarebytes installed, and Norton as anti-virus protection.
  14. Hello I was recently locked out of Facebook due to suspicious activity on my account. I was in the middle of setting up a legitimate Facebook business page when I started to get ‘you are about to leave this page’ pop-ups randomly, I clicked cancel to stop whatever it was trying to do but eventually it just forwarded me straight to a locked out of account page and I can now no long access my account. I am not bothered about getting access back to the Facebook account but I am unsure if these random exit pop-ups were simply a weird glitch within Facebook, or if there is a genuine concern here that someone did hack my account while I was logged in and has potentially infected my system as I clicked on the pop-ups? Please could someone run through some system scans/checks with me for some clarification and peace of mind? Thank you in advance for your help.
  15. Thank you for all of your help, advice and checking my computer was clean. A donation is on its way to you.
