  4. Component package.. look in settings/about/version information. The last time I had your issue I deactivated my license, then uninstalled MB with there clean-tool, reboot, then down load program again.
  5. Most certainly YES, a layered approach is always a good thing, MB is NOT a AV so running only it would leave holes in your security of your PC.
  6. No issues what so ever I'm running both apps full protection with out executable files, so they play perfectly fine together. If you cannot get BD to install just deactivate your MB3 license, uninstall it, install BD, then reinstall MB3 and activate everything back up.
  7. YOU....came here looking for help did you think one push of a button would fix all your issues? Sometimes one has to do a little diagnosing.
  8. That's more like it looks normal , for manual scans you can set MB to use more system resources and finish faster, So you wouldn't have to set up night time scans since it only takes a little wile to finish.
  9. 6.5 hours is ridiculous something's going on what version of Malwarebytes are you running, 3.3.1??
  10. Ok yea The program always checks for updates before it starts the scan.
  11. Glad to hear Rich any problems report back here someone will asset you.
  12. If you clicked the link and MB3 blocked it yes you are protected!
  13. NO... MB3 should not be your only means of defense on your Pc, a good AV solution should also be used, side by side with MB3 your Pc should be pretty safe.
  14. LoL seriously man? 1. You need def. updates to keep that PC safe 2. you own a pc your on the net your bombarded with intrusive activities all the time!!
  15. Had a similar issue, try doing a clean then re- install using MB-clean tool.
