Thanks for all the info and I never realised that there WAS a link for downloading the FULL version. I had asked once before and got nowhere but this time at least I found out where to download it.

Why can I not download this version from MWB? I found out that the version has been released from Majorgeeks but when I try to download from them, the version that is downloaded ISN'T the latest. Is there no way that the latest version can be downloaded from your site? I have been using MWB for 6 years. https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/malwarebytes_anti_malware.html.

BTW, downloading the updates and trying to install manually causes FAIL.

I have this issue with unable to install updates for office 2010 on one of my Win 10 based machines that has MWB installed. It is ONLY the machine with MWB installed that is having this issue and MS is no help at all. I don't want to disable MWB but I fear I am going to have to so I can get these updates. I have tried un-installing and re-instaling to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

I used the AdwCleaner (latest) The ONLY thing the scan finds is two programmes I use regularly that your company believes is a PUP?? They are not and many people have a similar problem, Driver Booster and Advanced System Care are programmes I have paid for and are NOT bad programmes. Oh well, thanks for the effort but I will check it more and see if I can fix it.

Tonight while I was using my machine, I get a warning from Windows Defender that tells me it has found 2 files which can affect my machine? they are PUA: Win32/iBryteInstaller, there were 2 entries, one dated the 13th and the other today the 21st??? How come MWB didn't pick up on these? MS calls them a SEVERE threat. Did I do something wrong? I thought MWB was supposed to catch these sorts of things?

I had EXACTLY the same issue with ADWCleaner wanting to disable a RETAIL product that I have PAID for????? I have added a few exclusions to the Exclusion section of Settings. I found that I could add a PUP string into the Family section of the exclusion and from the log I added a Registry Key which has fixed the issue. I do hope that helps someone.

I have the latest MWB installed and every so often when I got to a certain site, I get this message that tells me a website has been blocked and I would LOVE to know how to TURN IT OFF. I am so glad that MWB blocks the risky site but, I REALLY don't need to know about it EVERY time it sees it? If does it on many sites and I am over it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have version 3.1.2.1733 comp pkg 1.0.160, update 1.0.2479. Not EVERY time when I start up but, occasionally I get a msg comes up and says my updates are out of date? MWB is set to start automatically at start up and there is no delay for it but, it does this from time to time and I wondered if it is something I may have inadvertently done to the setup? Any ideas please?

I have added the folder for avast but, the individual system32 files it does not see, will see what happens? The issue I have is with Avast. Thanks for putting this here. I found where the individual files from the system32/drivers is listed, people need to go into behaviour shield and they are listed in there as an exception.

I have the SAME issues even after the 3.05 update so, I guess it is going to take another update to fix? Still getting the protection is off message at start up but, after 5 seconds the protection is showing as on. I know it sounds petty but I am getting a little sick of seeing the message on boot.

I have a problem with the 4 protections not being listed as on yet, when I go into the programme, it says it is?? I also get the notification at startup

I have no programmes listed in the Protected Applications at all? Do I need to re-install MWB?

It's strange, I have MWB and a Anti Virus programme on my machine and NEITHER detected the nasty I had?? I had to use AdwCleaner to remove the Win32/SpeedBit.AD nasty infecting it? The ONLY thing MWB did was to let me know that port 137 was being blocked from sending something to different IP addresses but, no detection?? Makes me wonder why I keep MWB on my system?
