Hi Out of curiosity, I assume the option to opt-in/opt-out the cloud uploading functionality is Usage and Threat Statistics? I don't mind sharing stats and events (I opt-in for all software), but I would strongly prefer having more fine grained control over files that are uploaded in their entirety.

It took me an insanely long time (around 50 sec) to open what should be small word files. I took a measurement using WPR and it appears MBAE engine is the culprit. Admittedly the file has a lot of embedded objects (equation objects) but this is insane. When I disabled MB Anti-Exploit in the settings, loading the file took 3-5 seconds. See how 90% of the time of the thread is spent inside mbae64.dll, and that it takes 25% CPU (ie, an entire CPU thread)

Thanks, I didn't find it in the known list so I reported. Will you make a note on the bug report to bump this topic when pushed to done? That way, I can subscribe to this, and learn when the issue is solved, instead of refreshing the forum once a week.
