    ahh, silly me. Was logged in as the user who will be on using the computer. I am updating the database now and will do another scan, then report back.

    Database seems quite old, but the update button is greyed out... see attached screenshot. I only just downloaded Malwarebytes from the website a couple of days ago.

    Hi I've just done a full scan after setting up a computer with a fresh install of Windows 8.1 and a couple of other programs and the scan found 2 items. Files Detected: 2 C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft-windows-atl_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_3fc0044d754c0225\atl.dll (Trojan.FakeMS) -> No action taken. C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft-windows-vcm-core-codecs_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_01428598f4095f36\iccvid.dll (Trojan.FakeAlert) -> No action taken. Can anyone clarify if these are actual threats or just false positives? Just seems strange that they are there so soon after a fresh install of Windows.
