  1. Thank you for all your help. I have done the above tasks and removed the programs etc. I appreciate all the time you spent attempting to fix the problem, and thank you for fixing issues I did not know I had.
  2. Thanks for all your help. I may just live with the issue for now, and maybe try to search out solutions on other forums. How do I proceed in removing the installed programs that we used to fix the issues so far?
  3. I think I have done all that was suggested in this article, but nothing seems to have changed.
  4. That did not seem to change anything. Still have the red x over the system tray icon and it still shows me not being connected to a network when I am.
  5. Okay, I performed this like you stated. Even restarted computer and did it again. It did not seem to change anything. Network center still appears to be the same.
  6. Here are those results. There are a couple of times that I mistyped, sorry. Microsoft Windows.doc
  7. Okay, here are those two documents. MyDrivers.txt MyServices.txt
  8. Okay, I ran the above registry thing like you asked. It does not appear to have changed anything. I still have the red x over the icon on my toolbar and it is doing the same in the network center.
  9. Ran the Zone Alarm cleanup. It stated it had removed the components. Did not fix the network issue, still a red X over the icon, and showing not connected.
  10. Yes, it says connections are available and says that I am not connected to a network. Even though I clearly am. I uninstalled Zone Alarm previously when you told me to, so I cannot access any of the settings you are asking for. Should I go ahead and run the tool to clean it up?
  11. Okay, Windows finished doing it updates and here are the files. Addition.txt FRST.txt JavaRa.log
  12. Here are the results of the latest FRST scan. Addition.txt FRST.txt
