I sent the file to Avira too ... It is baffling isn't it? This is on my Windows 7 Ultimate, the same file is also on my Win XP home and Vista Business ... not picked up on either one of those machines

  6. I'm pretty sure we have a F/P here ... Mbam is flagging CookieWall as malware ... been using it since 2002 http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/N...ie/Freeware.htm
  7. First, congratulations to MBam for having such a respected member of the anti-malware world join the team... Second, so glad to see you out and about again Merijn!!
  8. Yes, sometimes I'm most pleased with this feature .... other times, it can be an annoyance
  9. Click on the start orb, right click on 'Computer', choose open, then click on the 'tools' under the address bar. In the dropdown box, click 'folder options. Click the view tab, then check "hide protected system operating tools (recommended)
  10. Hi wontgo Type services.msc in the "start search" box. Click on the little icon and a window with a list of services will pop up. Scroll down the list and find McAfee Framework Service, right click on it, then choose 'properties'. Click on the dropdown box, then click "Disable". Have you tried to uninstall McAfee through Programs and Features ... or are you just deleting folders?
  11. Yep, it should all be okay with Dr Web now
  12. Reported FP to Dr Web, as it is detecting MBam as a "Possible Trojan" Edit to add snapshot
