  1. Thank you so much for your help, Exile 360 and Firefox, All seems well now, and doing the Malware scan, once again this morning... I managed to do the scan last evening, and it found lots of threats, which I quarantined... I cannot get Firefox or Internet Explorer to work on my computer, so I am using Avast Safe Zone.. I am just scared of trying anything else in case I lose everything. I know Windows XP is not supported anymore, and I have windows 10 on my laptop. but in XP I can still use my PSP ( Paint Shop Pro) as I do a lot of graphic work, yet, on Windows 10 it does not work well, does not show up the all psp images...seems it it is not compatible with a lot of the images.. I am wondering if I should load window 7 or 8 on my desktop..to enable me to still use the full potential of PSP..trouble is I am not confident enough to try to load psp 7 or 8, or even how to...and it would mean me buying a disc, and then not knowing how to load or even if it would work with the windows XP.. this message I have sent is even confusing me !!!!!!   4. Good morning from England. I have been away for a week and have just arrived home, wanted to do all the scans but when I went to do my Malwarebytes it has gone !!!!! I have searched everywhere. I will attach one of the log files I kept. I do hope you can help me...I have had Malwarebytes Premium for years now.malware scan oct2017.txt Many thanks Alana x

  6. Good morning from the U.K. I cannot scan on my computer...this has been going on and off for a long while now... I will attach some screen shots. I Have Windows XP on this desktop.   7. Okay Porthos, I have had enough for today... I will send a screen print of the latest...I just went to click on the Malware Icon this was the result.....cannot believe this is happening. I will now be able to get online now until late tomorrow or even Tuesday. I have never ever had problems like this !!

  10. I am not sure how to send a message to the Advanced set up, just took a chance and clicked on the envelope icon and sent a message, wonder if it will get there ? I cannot even print from my email now !!!!

I have no idea what is going on, but I have just tried to reinstall Firefox, but it will not allow me, also, I have tried to connect links to confirm registration of another site, but nothing is working... no links will work now from my email account...what on earth has happened...all this since downloading the new Malware update !!!! Is there anyone who can help please ??
  12. Sorry for the delay... Firefox crashed on me.. now I am on Avast Safe Zone browser.. I am sure I had Ransonware on it when I last scanned, but I cannot afford to get another desktop computer now, but I do have my windows 10 on my laptop. To get windows 7 on my desktop, that means I would have to buy a disc? is there any free download for windows 7? Thank you for your help, very much appreciated. Kindest regards Alana Sunday....   18. I hope I am in the correcrt place. Good morning from England. I went to do an update when Malaware instructed me this morning, and it has now disappeared completely from my computer. I went to control panel, checked all the programes and it is not there !! It said it was downloading the update and a restart needed, which I said ok to..and when it restared, nothing is there at all.. what can I do please ?? I have Malawarebytes Premium I have Windoes XP on my desktop, which I am using now, and I also have it on my laptop, windows 10. I have just checked my laptoop, and that is all okay, and is up to date, but how do I get it back now on my desktop ??? I have just taken a screenshot of the only thing I have on Malwarebytes on my computer..and will attach it. Please help me. Many thanks Alana
  19. Hi Devin, It has happened again...Icannot scan and I am not protected. will attach jpg. I tried going through the instructions you gave me again, asking me to go to settings/applications etc., but when I went to look for the icon in the system tray there was not one showing...not sure what to do now. Good morning Devin, Thank you so much for your reply and aswering my query, and yes, I have been having problems with my printer, I have a HPEnvy, and have been paying £1.99 a month to HP for cartridges when I need them, but as yet, have not needed any, I have been paying them for almost 2 years now, and have not had new cartridges, last week my printer told me I needed a new coloured cartridge, (which I hardy ever use,) usually go for printing in black, when I went to the chat for help on HP site, after lots of tests, they said it was not the cartridges, but the printer and I would need a new one..I have only had this printer for under the 2 years, and not used much at all... I tried to print in black only, and had it set up for WIfi, worked well, but when they told me I had to buy another, and that my printer would not work unless I bought more cartridges from them I was not happy !!! I told them I did not have the money to buy another printer, especially after such a short period of time, so I got in touch with my Credit card company that the monthly payments were going out from and stopped any more payments going to HP...so I uninstalled the printer, and then loaded it again, only did not hook up the Wifi, just wired it up to my computer, and it is printing now on just the black single cartridge... they have had all that money from me, and no cartridges supplied. I was not a happy bunny at all.. so maybe I will not get updates, not sure what to do now.. but if all else fails I will have to buy another printer but it will not be HP as they seem to tie you in with the cartridge situation and I feel as though my hands are tied.   21. Good morning Devin and thank you for your message... all seems well and I am runnning a scan now..WoooHooo!! everything seems good.. Again, thank you so much for all your help. I did have a message from Microsoft on my screen when I first signed in this morning, would it have anything to do with thngs I have been doing? it said: Windows has closed this programe app to protect my computer SPOOLER SUB SYSTEM I should have taken a screen shot, but was busy writing it down... and then I closed it...stupid me, but all seems well anyway. I have not had time to turn on my laptonop yet Devin,(windows 10) hopefully will do that another day, as a busy one ahead of me. Thank you again for all your help, and puting my mind at ease...I do get worried.. (((Hugs))) Alana x
  22. It is almost 5pm here in England and I have to go and visit my daughter as she is not well.. I will try my windows 10 tomorrow on my Laptop, to see if that is working okay.. I normally only go on that once a week.. sorry I cannot stay longer this evening, but I will be back tomorrow am...thank you so much for your help, and maybe tomorrow you will have more info for me.   24. The scan has finished and it said all was okay.. I cannot find a log file for it though..the one I sent this morning was on my desktop.. I have looked but not another one there... I will upload the zip file again, mahybe you can see things you need...so sorry to be so stupid. Thank you so much for helping me. x I will keep looking for a log mb-check-results.zip
