  1. I already ran Spy Bot Search and Destroy twice and it finds nothing. Is there a free anti spyware that you know about? Or should i just delete it?
  2. Here is the log. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.38 Database version: 2302 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 6/17/2009 11:53:46 PM mbam-log-2009-06-17 (23-53-37).txt Scan type: Full Scan (C:\|) Objects scanned: 25287 Time elapsed: 2 minute(s), 7 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 1 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{ec43e3fd-5c60-46a6-97d7-e0b85dbdd6c4} (Trojan.BHO) -> No action taken. [4054423730927068212070207169142268231714212366231426246924147017672522696769692 3682194] Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: (No malicious items detected) Ive tried to take it out with malwarebytes but it kept on appearing in the next scan. I ran regedit and found the trojan and deleted the 2 registry keys. I restarted and ran the scan again. Same registry key. It shows no sign of malware because I search on google and it doesnt bring me to a fake site.
  3. I tried to remove this trojan.bho.ab malware. Its the only virus that malware bytes finds. I clicked remove, and It told me it will delete it on reboot. I rebooted, it opened up, but nothing appears. I scan again, it finds the same thing in the same exact place. I try again and again, but its always there. This is not a false positive because I try to do a google search and click on the searches, and It brings me to a totally different site. There is one strange thing however, I use taskmanager, processes, and I cannot find trojan.bho.ab. I dont know what to do.
