Hi, sorry if this isn't strictly a false positive query but I'm new to the foruma and wasn't sure where to post. I've recently bought the Steam game The Typing of The Dead Overkill and couldn't get it to work at all. After posting about this on the game's associated Steam forum, another user told me that Malwarebytes is known to delete the game's hotd_ng.exe file. After adding this file the Malwarebytes' ignore list, the game worked. I'm wondering why this file was deleted in the first place and if this is something Malwarebytes is doing on a regular basis with other Steam-based games? If so, is there a way to stop it and somehow set up a rule for Malwarebytes to ignore the whole Steam folder so that I don't have to individually add games to the list? Thanks for any help.
