  1. I ran cureit in safe mode the first time, but forgot to save the log. It found and repaired one error, I think it was described as a possible corruption of host file. the log posted is from the 2nd time i ran it

  4. Was found to have been infected by Sweetpacks and SearchProtect after completing an anti-malware scan. I believe I may have unintentionally approved installation of these programs when installing Daemon Tools Lite. Malwarebytes detected and removed the products, but I'm still experiencing poor PC performance.
