It appears there is something running that waits for the network connection to come back online. Once the network connection is back, the virus comes back within a couple of minutes. Just thought I would share that observation.

I ran fix, then powered down and booted cold. Everything seemed to be OK until I opened the Internet Explorer to connect to this page for the next step. Found a copy of the vista disk. Was able to create the FRST.txt and the Search.txt files. I have attached those files here. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help further. FRST.txt Search.txt

I have read many posts here and have not found one that matches. I have a friend who has this virus on their laptop running vista. All the instructions seem pretty simple to follow, except they require using Repair your Computer. I go to advanced boot options, but I find no item labeled "Repair your computer" I have; Safe Mode Safe Mode with Networking Safe Mode with Command Prompt Enable Logging Enable low-resolution video Last known good configuration Directory Services Restore Mode Debugging Mode Disable automatic restart on system failure Disable Driver Signature Enforcement Start Windows Normally I am not sure what to do here. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
