  1. Hello applehead It is worth trying to uninstall Messenger Plus. I can confirm that after 24 hours, the problem appears resolved on my system. I'm still crossing my finger that it's gone for good. I have to wait a few more hours for the 48 hours mark.
  2. Hello all A friend pointed out the following: http://www.malekal.com/2013/09/03/popup-de-publicites-popcash-et-yuna-software-messenger-plus/ which states that the problem stems from Messenger Plus from Yuna Software. Accordingly, I uninstalled that software and I am monitoring the internet traffic on my machine with Fiddler Web Debugger (http://fiddler2.com/). Although it is a bit early to tell, it seems that the problem was resolved. I will need to wait another 24 hours to be sure. Note that the uninstall of Messenger Plus crashed when it removed the program. I will need to clean it up. Thanks
  3. Hello I have exactly the same problem. Caught it a few days ago, probably while roaming the internet. I ran various scanners to no avail. The "7 dot rotator dot wigetmedia dot com" address pop-ups at around 4:30 pm (Eastern time) if Chrome is opened at that time. If not opened, it pop-ups when opening Chrome. Today, I installed Firefox and let it running, while Chrome was closed. Firefox got the "call" from that address. In Windows' Task scheduler, it is GoogleUpdate.exe that is scheduled at around that time. I ran OLT, and I see that among the Mozilla plug-ins, there is npGoogleUpdate3.dll. If it can help you fix the issue, I can post the OLT reports from my machine as you requested from jng. Thanks for any help.
