  1. Thanks for the fast response! It's much appreciated.
  2. Hi, I have just moved a website for someone and it is being flagged as a potential phishing site by Maywarebytes, The site itself is pure html and has no data capture associated with it, Could you have a look at it please. https://jspconsultants.co.uk/ Was originally registered with Godaddy but has been moved to Fasthosts, Thanks,
  3. So, its now quarter past November and still no sign of the update to turn off Ip Protection, do you guy have an ETA yet for us lesser mortals?
  4. thanks for getting back to me but like i said in my OP i know the router is ok and properly connected to the net because when connecting via my laptop it works fine. as it turns out, i thought i'd better have a look at my LAN settings and the problem was the DNS settings had been wiped out from the IP config.
  5. i managed to land myself with one of the generic8 trojan downloaders. i used avenger to disable the rootkit that was causing me major headaches with running mbam, spybot and various other anti-nasty apps. once i got the rootkit cleaned out i was able to run mbam which found a load of trojan dns redirectors so i clicked ok to remove them and then clicked ok to restart the pc. once i got back to the desktop i couldnt access the internet. ive checked out my hosts file and thats ok, ive run hijackthis and that hasnt found anything horrible. vista actually reports that i have local access only even though i know the router is working fine as when i connect my laptop i get net access straight away. any ideas? im running vista ultimate, mbam 1.37 and avg 8.5.
