  1. Or is it just a graphical bug? I realize mbam minimized my game after the scan is completed. Then I saw the notepad results and the blank windows that is suppose to say : no malicious item detected. it actually minimize my game just to show the results
  2. Today I downloaded teamviewer cause my ISP needed to check some settings. I merely ran teamviewer but did not install it. After the session I removed teamviewer and the folders it made in my AppData folder. did a ccleaner run and restarted computer. upon power up, updated mbam then did full scan. This shock me when it finished scanning. As most people should know after a scan there will be 2 things that pop out. A notepad and a small window for mbam. Notepad shows the scan results which are clean. The small window which is suppose to show "No malicious item detected bla bla bla" and an OK button also popped out but this item I could not see any words in the window, its just white with an OK button. I did a 2nd full scan and it is now showing the " No malicious item detected" with the OK button. I never had this issue before, am I infected??? the first run had no words but the second run does. avast full scan also showed no threat.
  3. Yup its gone as of v2013.12.09.04
  4. Does malwarebyte's database work by adding definitions to it every update? If it does, there shouldn't be any false positive is it? Since it is just adding and adding every update. Thus there should not be any false positive on files that are known.
  5. Haha , so its the same 2 files? and 2 only?
  6. Just wondering , how are you so sure it is a false positive? I understand that it is 99.99% false positive but it seems like your 100% sure.
  7. Turned on my computer today and updated database version to v2013.12.09.01. Did a full scan , found nothing. My Avast Internet Security also found nothing on a full scan. After accessing youtube for a while, I went to update my Malwarebytes again to see if theres any update. It downloaded v2013.12.09.02. Did a full scan , found 2 threat. Did not download anything for the past 1 week or install new stuff. Scan log is attached but I removed the part where it says my computer name due to privacy. So far I did nothing since both file resides in the C drive and one of em in the C:\Windows Help would be appreciated. MBAM-log-2013-12-09 (14-45-40).txt
  8. so ur saying I'm jus paranoid and the authorize rma company is unlikely to put a root kit or modified bios firmware into my board? Cuz I don't trust the authorized rma company
  9. if I flash to the latest bios I can be assured that there is no mods by other people ut jus Asus. However root kit can might still be in my computer but will they be able to be detected by malwarebytes or my avast?
  10. Recent my motherboard died and I went to rma my board with an authorize seller of ASUS. When the guy gave me the board it was wrapped in bubble wrap instead of anti static bag. I installed it into my computer and realize the bios version is also different(its newer) , I'm superstious that the RMA company(not Asus) has flashed the bios with a root kit or something. my reason of suspecting : I reinstalled windows and using avast internet security it decided a hidden rootkit , second reinstall it detected another rootkit 3rd reinstall : I did not bother scanning until all windows update are fully installed, ran a full scan + boot time scan + malwarebyte full scan and result came back clean. What are the chances that they placed a root kit on my board? I did check Asus website and the bios version number is legit but idk about the firmware if they hacked it before
  11. I restarted my computer and it worked again , just telling me my database is outdated by 1 day.
  12. When i try to start malwarebytes today , I got this error. I got no idea why but recently I switched motherboard(same board , old one was faulty) and did not reinstall windows , just booted off the ssd.
