  1. A couple of weeks ago I ran Malwarebytes and found that I had a lot of Malware. Each item had beside it a green icon which looked like a bug. I clicked on remove and all of the items were apparently removed. I was then prompted to reboot the computer to remove any traces. I did so and the computer attempted to reboot but stalled before Windows 8 started. The message "Please wait" appeared but after 12 hours it was still there. I tried to boot from my installation disk and a recovery flashdrive but neither was recognized. Eventually I was forced to take the machine to a technician who fixed after about three days. This afternoon I ran Malwarebytes again and learned that I had multiple affected files, each with the green bug icon next to it. I am stuck now because I am reluctant to press Remove and even more reluctant to reboot. I have no way of knowing if I have been infected by the earlier malware or whether it is something else. Is there any way I can determine whether it is safe to reboot? Incidentally, neither my antivirus or other anti-malware software found anything amiss. Help! I have attached the Malware log for my current problem. Malware log.txt
