Hey there, just wanted to say I found the cause of the issue. In my first post I included the information about the appcrash including the line: Fault Module Name: nvdxgiwrap.dll Which of course meant it was a driver issue. I booted up in safe mode and installed the newest driver and everything works fine now. Thank you greatly for your help and sorry about the confusion! Keep on keeping on you computer gods! -Cory

The problem doesn't come from FixCleaner (though that program is such a scam). I installed FixCleaner after the problem started in an attempt to fix my issue before realizing that it was a scam. I've uninstalled FixCleaner, ran mbam-clean, restarted and installed MalwareBytes again an encountered the same issue. After installation I attempt to launch MalwareBytes and it experiences the APPCRASH error.

I've been having APPCRASH errors on every program I've tried to run recently. I first noticed it when I attempted to run Deus Ex Human Revolution I installed from Steam. In my quest to fix Deus Ex, I noticed I can not run Skype either. I downloaded MalwareBytes to help me out in this dire situation, as it usually saves me. However, Malwarebytes is also experiencing APPCRASH errors. I'm on a Windows 7 64bit Toshiba laptop. I've read other threads and tried a few things. I've ran rkill and it kills * C:\windows\system32\ThpSrv.exe (PID: 2592) [WD-HEUR] * C:\Windows\System32\ThpSrv.exe (PID: 4500) [WD-HEUR] But this does not fix the issue. I have restarted and reinstalled Skype and Malwarebytes, which also had no effect. I've tried to run Malwarebytes through the Chameleon folder, which gave me the appcrash error right after attempting to update.
