I have bought a new wireless card which has fixed the problem (for now) I still don't know the issue but for now it's alright

It's not fully resolved, I'm not sure but it does seem that the times I get a significant speed drop have decreased, I will later try with another adapter I'm going to buy and see if I'll still have the same problem

Hello,

I'm on a desktop PC without a wireless card,

I've for a while been using a LAN cable but Switched to a Wireless USB adapter (Atheros 5007UG)

 When starting up my computer or when I disconnect and reconnect to the network, I get a speed around 8-9MB. After a while(5minutes)

the speed drastically drops to 0.2-0.6MB.  This is not an issue with the router since even my iphone gets a higher speed, when using the wireless Adapter on another one of my computers everything seems fine. I've tried everything I could think off even uninstalled the drivers and re-installed them.
