me too!!! Oh i don't have words at how great i feel right now, not only is my PC functioning at probably one of its most optimal settings but also the mouse isn't broken anymore.

Okay. Update post & The closing post(By me). Since this read seems to have not gotten very far in finding the cause(Tho i do appreciate the driver updates), I decided to seek help from messaging 110 different people iv met throughout the 10~ years that iv added as contacts/friends. Most weren't helpful, some recommended driver updates and stuff stated here. Then i decided to message the friend who looked through the computer earlier with teamviewer that i spoke about in another post. He thought maybe the bios was just to far out of date to work properly, so we updated from 0400 to 0800~. Sadly no fix. Then after being told that theres almost nothing wrong with the PC to cause this, i thought to myself maybe i just had really bad luck and bought a faulty mouse? So i went and borrowed a third mouse from my parent's computer temporarily and what do you know, it works just fine. So now i feel stupid since i can't get a refund/replacement for that mouse in particular but i filed a complaint at the store where i got it and bought a duplicate mouse that my parents use and all is fine now. Now i need to say i am SO SORRY for wasting your time, And im really grateful that you took the time to help me out even tho you guys weren't obliged in any way to assist me. With that said, Sorry again! And Thank you very much, This ticket/thread can be closed. What i learned from this: Don't toss the box of newly bought hardware or the receipt, Also try multiple devices before concluding that its not that.

Nope. Uninstalled anti exploit, tried game. still happened. uninstalled bitdefender, tried game still happened. restarted computer, tried game still happened. running a scan with MalwareByes Anti Malware to see if maybe the scan was compromised by one of the processes. additionally i decided to take some screen-snips with the snip-tool of my task manager processes, are there any processes in this list that would potentially interfere with mouse operations or really just shouldn't be running? http://imgur.com/a/vtlmiAnd if you dont like viewing imgur links, i added the three photos as an attachment to this post. How the images are arranged: The first two on the imgur link are the top of the task manager and the bottom and the third one is the boot up after i uninstalled bitdefender/mbae.

just a thought here, Should i uninstall MB Anti Exploit and see if that fixes my issue? Im just brainstorming by myself here while watching anime on Crunchyroll and i was thinking if its not a driver issue, not a issue with the mouse, not the usb slot, might be a process but what process is always running. Then i thought about MB AE, I can turn off bitdefender on demand(which i tried that btw to fix my issue, didnt work), but MB AE doesn't have that at all and even if i try to cancel it(which i shouldnt anyways) it'l probably come right back since it has like 3 processes overall. so maybe i should uninstall it temporarily and see it continues? Also, I decided to upload two additional .txt/.log files from two different programs i have. One is from rkill (From bleepingcomputer) and the other is a scan log from hitmanpro(Which yielded 0 files found but its something with info) HitmanPro_20160108_2134.log Rkill.txt

so i was just playing with my mouse a bit: not in settings but ingames(where iv been testing since its easier to reproduce the issue in various games) and i noticed it wont click if im not touching anything on my keyboard but if im moving and clicking it will instantly double click? Dont suppose this is related in anyway?

well this issue was with both mouses(wireless and wired). Im not sure what model or brand this is, i just went down to RedApple(A store that sells all sorts of stuff), spotted a cardboard box that sold keyboard and mouse for 21$ and claimed to be an optical wired mouse so i just went with that one. On the bottom of the mouse there is a white sticker with this written on it: KB-IM5159 that was along the top, then this is along the bottom: 8 78294 03581 3. Then below that: S/N: IMJS014102103099 Device manager just says HID Compliant mouse. Checked the keyboard that came with this mouse, its sticker says relatively the same thing. Im gonna try every usb port including the front and test them individually.

Added. Just to notify you in this post, I did modify the system(slightly) since the last post of this kind. One: Windows search index is now OFF. (Done by me) Two: Teamviewer was Installed and i let a very old friend(3/4? years now) take a look around the computer to see if he could find anything. He is in very much the same position you are and works remotely from home to work on other peoples computers. He's the one who recommended that i turn off windows search indexer if my system is running really badly. As far as i could tell as he was operating my installed tools on my system(Seagate tools) nothing out of the ordinary happened to the PC. Installed(Took awhile like 10 minutes for all those drivers to install) and it asked to reboot and i let it reboot. Still happening, Doesn't seem to occur as much as before but if i start rapidly click-holding or even just click once it will double click. Should i try my front USB slot i guess?

done. when i minimized the program it did not appear in taskbar or alt + tab so i had to close the program through task manager. That and i needed something to comment about to post this attachment. VISTAPC.LOG

got any idea as to what would cause my mouse issues? If its not malware or adware, It must be something as i doubt two different mouses(one wired and one wireless) would both have the same issues in different usb ports. i havent tried the front usb port but i was once told that things are slower in the front so im not gonna try that one. Im gonna go nuts here if i dont find out whats causing my mouse to click again when im in a light weight game(like banished from steam) or even just re-arranging a bookmark and it clicks while im holding the mouse button down.

Okay that worked. Guess the msc part was important to running as admin. Is there any other processes that you may know of like search indexer that may cause performance issues?

i have two mouses, One is an optical wireless mouse bought at bestbuy. Iv cleaned the lense multiple times(With q tip and blowing of air), cleaned mouse pad, changed mouse pad and swapped usb ports. All still have this issue. Then the other day i went and bought a 21$ keyboard and mouse box set(figured id get a backup keyboard just incase this one breaks you know) and swapped into for this mouse. It did say it was optical but it seems this mouse is laser(it has a giant red laser under it) which is okay. But yet mouse issues arise. Also i was talking with some friends about windows vista and they said if im having issues to turn off windows search indexer as it uses up a bunch of cpu sometimes, which im completely fine with since i dont browse files all THAT often so i tried turning it off via services but when i changed startup type from automatic to disabled it said "Access is denied". Any idea whats up with that? UAC pop up happened when i did open services so it should be able to turn it off.

Nope, I recently installed bitdefender and that may have been the first time i rebooted since installing it. I do not wish to uninstall it ever for the time being. I did not let it uninstall aswell i was greeted by a message claiming to be from Steam about steam service and requesting uac access to install. i declined and it booted up steam when its not set to boot steam up on boot on msconfig or steam itself. Not sure why it appeared. thats good, Tho i dont suppose you got any idea as to why some of the issues like mouse clicking is happening? after i ran that farbar scan tool it actually helped so im not sure what it did but i would like to know what it did so i can replicate that effect when my clicking starts to fail.
