  1. I can't speak for any of the testing and performance issues since I don't know too much, but I just used the updated beta version to rid my system of Trojan.JSRedir.H! The MBAM I downloaded yesterday couldn't find it, but this version did. Thanks!
  2. After looking at some other topics on this forum (15879 in particular), I went ahead and downloaded the updated beta version of MBAM and redid the scan. It found 2 infected objects, including the file that other scans had found and not removed ~ Trojan.JSRedir.H. My AV is now updating and everything seems fine. This was even a good lesson for my 12-year-old. You guys are gods! I think I will go ahead and put MBAM on all 14 of our business computers. Thanks!
  3. My computer is having problems (extremely slow), and I'm not an IT person. McAfee AV will scan, but the icon has disappeared from taskbar. A message appears saying I need to reinstall, but it won't update, and I'm blocked from the website (HTTP 501 message - website unable to display page). ESET scanner and Windows Onecare safety scanner both indicated Trojan/Daonol.D but were unable to successfully remove. Other scans, including MBAM say there is no problem. MBAM downloaded, but won't update. I am now following the instructions in topic 2936. MBAM logfile as follows: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.36 Database version: 1945 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 5/23/2009 3:07:02 PM mbam-log-2009-05-23 (15-07-02).txt Scan type: Full Scan (C:\|) Objects scanned: 206491 Time elapsed: 1 hour(s), 1 minute(s), 37 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: (No malicious items detected) HijackThis logfile as follows: Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 Scan saved at 3:48:53 PM, on 5/23/2009 Platform: Windows XP SP3 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16827) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\AOL\ACS\AOLacsd.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\AppleMobileDeviceService.exe C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehRecvr.exe C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehSched.exe C:\Program Files\Micro Innovations\Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Driver\KMWDSrv.exe C:\Program Files\McAfee\SiteAdvisor\McSACore.exe C:\PROGRA~1\McAfee\MSC\mcmscsvc.exe c:\program files\common files\mcafee\mna\mcnasvc.exe c:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\mcafee\mcproxy\mcproxy.exe C:\PROGRA~1\McAfee\VIRUSS~1\mcshield.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VS7DEBUG\MDM.EXE C:\Program Files\McAfee\MPF\MPFSrv.exe C:\Program Files\McAfee\MSK\MskSrver.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32.exe C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared Files\RichVideo.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllhost.exe C:\WINDOWS\vsnp2std.exe C:\WINDOWS\stsystra.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\RUNDLL32.EXE C:\Program Files\Lexmark 5200 series\lxbtbmgr.exe C:\Program Files\Micro Innovations\Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Driver\StartAutorun.exe C:\Program Files\Lexmark 5200 series\lxbtbmon.exe C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe C:\Program Files\Micro Innovations\Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Driver\KMConfig.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\issch.exe C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PCM4Everio\EverioService.exe C:\WINDOWS\ehome\ehtray.exe C:\Program Files\Micro Innovations\Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Driver\KMProcess.exe C:\Program Files\Dell\Media Experience\DMXLauncher.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\DLA\DLACTRLW.EXE C:\WINDOWS\eHome\ehmsas.exe C:\Program Files\Dell Support\DSAgnt.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe C:\Program Files\Digital Line Detect\DLG.exe C:\Program Files\palmOne\Hotsync.exe C:\Program Files\SanDisk\SanDisk TransferMate\SD Monitor.exe C:\Program Files\Nikon\NkView6\NkvMon.exe C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Yahoo!
