Ok, thank you. It also looks like the farbar fix cleared up abotu 11 GB from my C: drive which is nice. So far it looks good but I will update in 1-2 days if the freezing stopped or not Thank you

My computer will freeze for about seconds at a time several times a day for no apparent reason Some single player games/programs will freeze and unfreeze with the computer, while something like a youtube video will not freeze with the computer and play in the background (no sound/appears frozen), so when the computer unfreezes i'll have missed some of the video and half to rewind it.

Hello CWB Maurice was very helpful, eh directed me to this being the issue, that it was. I was using a Swiftech H220, yes the build is homebuilt, and swiftech will be replacing the unit. I tried reseating it, then I replaced it with the stock cooler that i'm currently using, and I'm running without issue at reasonable temps (35-40 idle), no OC. Of course the H220 is a great unit and i'm sure that the replacement I get will work fine, back when it was in working order I was running 4.4@1.27 with load temps in the 50's. I'm actually very thankful that this was the issue as the fix was very easy.

Thank you, I changed to the stock cooler and my temps are back down to normal. One question, can I delete the desktop.ini files on my desktop as well?

Hello: I'm on the edge of hiring someone to fix my computer here. After a long run with various tools, the issue may be system related. The following image will show you a load of 1 % with a Core Voltage of less than one, with the processor hitting 65 degrees Celsius. I am running a maybe now broken Swiftech H220, with temperatures around 39 degrees and an overclock to 4.4 with a VCore of 1.27. In simpler terms, my temperatures are over 30 degrees Celsius what they should be. My Virus help thread can be located here http://forums.malwar...pic=126896&st=0 At this point in time, i'm figuring that the temps are so high because some virus-malware is putting my CPU under stress in a way that it won't display the actual load, or because my cooler is no longer functioning. The RAM is new because I only built the computer a month ago. I have 2 unobstructed intake fans, one exhast fan and 2 fans blowing onto a radiator (as intake) for a closed loop watercooler (Push then Push/Pull), i'm almost sure temps aren' an issue. Because this makes it posotive pressure, there are a total of 3 120mm locations on the case without fans to allow air to leave the case. I was using Chrome. I assume I can make a post in the PC Help forum if that is needed, I can also check the temperatures of everything with hardware monitors I have. (I REALLY Hope this is not the issue, if this truely cannot be solved I was ready to just do a fresh install) I just let Memtest do its two passes, then it reboot on its own. Should I use a third party mem tester? (The memory is Corsair Vengeance, so I can't imagine it failing after one month of use) Can you get anything from that STOP code, or is it not really of use?
