  1. Well I'm up and running. Just wondering why it did this to only my machine? We have 2 other machines that were installed about the same time with different cd's, but they did not do the same thing.
  2. So what Antivirus software works best with Malwarebytes?
  3. I purchased a actual cd copy several years ago that has been updating regularly. The problem is that I have no copy of any emails for upgrades along the way. I just purchased another copy last night so that I am protected.
  4. I have been a paying customer for a long time, recommend this to everyone. So the surprise I had today was concerning. I updated my Malwarebytes a week or two ago. I did not notice it because it went into the premium demo. However today I noticed that it wasn't running. When I opened it I found that it was the free version and not the paid version. I can not locate the customer # or license# anyone know where I could find it in registry? Or do I have to call in? I have the Anti-exploit running also, it did not revert to a demo/free version.
  5. Thought I would post the things I had seen so far. Phone is a Motorola M system version 182.46.15.xt907.Verizon.en.us Android 4.4.2 I use the phone for business and most days I am on it all day. I have two headsets, because each of them only last about 4.5 hours on a charge. Most days my phone is plugged into my pc all day. My car has a nav mount and phone is almost always charged at the same time. The phone has been slowing down, and before the update to Android 4.4.2 at times it was unusable. However recently it has been acting like it had a bug or something so I researched for a solution. Phone would not respond for 10-200 seconds when you type in the unlock code or clicking on an app to start would not register that you clicked it. That is when I found out you had this for a phone. I have been a long time user of Malewarebytes Prem and have it on all my machines, so this is going on all my phones. Malwarebytes Install time was about 3 minutes. No Issues First scan was a total of 11 minutes, plugged in during this. Scan found nothing bad. Battery state seams to be the same, leaving it unplugged for day. Battery meter is not registering any use by malewarebytes, but it has not scanned while on batt. First thoughts were huh, nothing there, but then looking through the app I noticed how many apps required start on boot. I had not seen this before, I guess I should not of blindly downloaded app's with out reading the ua. I removed all the app's that I did not want to start on phone boot up. One app that really surprised me was Pandora, it was a memory hog! A big Thank you for making it, I will be in line to buy if you make a premium version!
  6. Many thanks, a FP on the UUID file I think is likely too. I just know that something else made my computer go nuts until I shut it off. Been making a living on fixing these things for 15 years and never seen anything like this one.
  7. Long time paid user here and this is the first post ever in here, a testiment to the fine product you have. Tonight I was crusing the internet and all of a sudden all input from keyboard was being redirected. If you hit "g" it brought up windows search for instance. Was searching for JBoss stuff so be careful! So I pulled the power and hoped to stop any writing to hard drive. IE10's temp folder is stored on a ram drive that is cleared upon reboot. Dataram software. Booted backup and ran MB and got this below, but it did not identify anything else. Forefront and Malwarebytes show nothing now. The file it created was full of UUID's from adobe and office? What good do these do anyone and does anyone know what the name of this malware/virus would be? PC seams to run fine at the moment. Thanks for any input.
