Please help me. I researched the net about the steps I could follow so I can turn my security service center on again. This link provided me with the steps I needed. http://support.micro....com/kb/2519899 At first, after closing the Services window, my security service center would turn on, but after a few seconds, it will again turn off. I tried repeating the same steps but I still got the same results. It's still turning off. I opened my laptop awhile ago and suddenly, Security Essentials started scanning but the "Windows Security Center service can't be started" problem is still there. As of now, I only have Malwarebytes and Optimizer Pro to protect may laptop. Just last week, I also had a problem about viewing my files. When I clicked my Drive C, only unknown files would appear on the window, without the folders anymore, though I would still see these folders on the navigation pane. I don't know what happened.
