  1. I updated my Malwarebytes software and Norton. Then followed up with CCleaner newest version. Malwarebytes conducted the usual threat scan and immediately notified me of CCleaner trojan. I quarantined and removed CCLeaner. After deletion and restart, re-scanned threat gone.
  2. After further checking, it seems if you set privacy to High or completely block cookies, it stops; however, you have not locked yourself out of forums, email, etc.
  3. Fix did not work. Still getting it after going to www.cnet.com website. I cleaned the logs and did scans, computers that have Windows 7 64-bit (Home and Pro) and Windows XP (Pro). I have enabled Flash and privacy is running medium; however changed to medium-High. The only defense to this coming up is turning cookies completely off (disabled). From protection log: 2013/04/18 00:23:43 -0600 IP-BLOCK 50.97.218.220 (Type: outgoing, Port: 61362, Process: iexplore.exe) 2013/04/18 00:35:52 -0600 IP-BLOCK 50.97.218.220 (Type: outgoing, Port: 61950, Process: iexplore.exe) 2013/04/18 00:35:53 -0600 IP-BLOCK 50.97.218.220 (Type: outgoing, Port: 61949, Process: iexplore.exe) 2013/04/18 00:35:53 -0600 IP-BLOCK 50.97.218.220 (Type: outgoing, Port: 61951, Process: iexplore.exe) 2013/04/18 00:36:57 -0600 IP-BLOCK 50.97.218.220 (Type: outgoing, Port: 62063, Process: iexplore.exe)
  4. This is happening at sites that have ads. I even fired up my XP computer thinking it is Windows 7, nope! If you disable cookies, you are prevented from logging to specific sites, i.e. banking, email, forums, etc.
  5. The last thing I did was shutting down the cookies in the internet options. This is almost every site that has advertisement of some sort.
  6. I have Malwarebytes on 4 computers, have not fired up the Windows XP; however, I too have been having this issue since yesterday. I have deleted favorites, disabled add-ons and still pops up. I did go into the internet options and in Privacy tab, then advanced and blocked cookies. Did not have any more pop ups coming from Malwarebytes blocker, re-set back it starts again. I did the same in internet zone slide bar setting from Medium High to High; but, the problem now is you cannot log into sites.
