  1. OK, As I mentioned in my previous post, my Malwarebytes is working fine now, EXCEPT, the Dashboard window keeps popping up on my screen, almost once an hour! Maybe, something in the latest update causing that too.
  2. Hello Spam Hunters, Thank you for your response. As I mentioned, I don't think there's anything wrong with my (or many other users) Malwarebytes. Obviously, something in the latest update(s) causing the problem since suddenly, so many users have experienced the same problem all at once (yesterday and today). Your link will only, in my opinion, wasting time to uninstall and reinstall. After several attempts, trying to update over and over, trying to do scans and reported failed. Finally, the Malcious Website Protection magically worked again. I don't know why and what did happen. But just glad it worked. As I mentioned in my previous post, there have been issues like this kind during the last two updates.
  3. Hello Ron Lewis, I have Malwarebytes Premium 2.0.3.1025 and Database version v2014.10.14.09. Everything is updated and I have checked the ENBLED button, then EXIT, then RESTART. However, the Malicious Website Protection disabled itself AUTOMATICALLY! I have tried that several times, the same result. I don't think the link you posted will help this issue as I think it's the updates that are causing the problem. It has happened in the last two Malwarebytes updates, last time, it was the Malware Protection being disabled by itself, this time, it's the Malicious Website Protection. Please fix this issue immediately as the protections are one of the main reasons I (I am sure many other users too) use Malwarebytes. Thank you.
  4. I use Firefox almost exclusively (along with Chrome at times), very rarely do I use IE. I haven't gotten any IP block from MBAM for a few days now. I visited eBay quite often and never did get any blocked IPs either. It might be because I have the Firefox add-on Flashblock installed, I don't know if that's the reason or not. However, it did block all the flash ads in eBay, as well as all websites I visited (including YouTube). You might try that to see if that helps. Just a suggestion.
  5. MysteryFCM -- Thank you. But could you please let us know the reason why was that IP address (50.97.214.162) being blocked to begin with, and now it's being unblocked?
  6. quickcougar03 -- I have AdBlock installed long time ago and still got the problem. However, I haven't had this problem since yesterday morning. I would say it's probably ad-related as many other posters indicate. Maybe I didn't go to those websites that have the ads coming from that specific IP address. I also have Flashblock (Firefox add-on) installed as well which blocked all flash ads. It might help I guess.
  7. Thank you, Ron. I love your profile pix as I used to have a Beagle myself, he died a month ago at the age of 16.
  8. I think if we all send emails to SoftLayer, they will take us seriously. So please, to all who have the same problem, send the email to: abuse@softlayer.com and let them know. Otherwise, they wont' take any action. As for myself, I haven't seen any blockage so far since this morning. Thank you.
  9. NoStall -- Thank you for your suggestion. I run CCleaner at night daily and also run my anti-virus and/or anti-malwares softwares overnight daily. This problem just came up this morning when I started my Firefox, but I doubt it has anything to do with that since I use Firefox every day. I would suggest those who have this problem send their Malwarebytes log report or simply a message to SoftLayer, so they know the severity of this problem. I chatted with them via their website this morning and they said one or some of their clients might be using their IP address illegally. Here's their email address: abuse@softlayer.com
  10. Hello, This morning, Malwarebytes block an outgoing IP addresses several times (15), it all occurred within an hour period. Since then, no such action has appeared further. Here's one of the log information: 2013/04/16 07:44:20 -0500 IP-BLOCK 50.97.214.162 (Type: outgoing) The IP address belongs to a company called SoftLayer. I contact them and they have no idea why their IP address would appear in my PC and asked me to send the log information to their abuse department, which I did. So far, I haven't heard anything from them yet. Does anyone know why this IP address appeared in my PC and was blocked as "outgoing"? Any suggestions/comments are much appreciated. Thank you.
