So I am not sure where to post this as the title says, it's hard to tell what is wrong. So as everyone is aware, the recent Microsoft Security update pretty much messed with a lot of Windows 7 users, my computer was working fine before I turned it off. But then when I turn it on the next day, I get the usual boot up and then the updates are applied during boot up. But then I go to log into my account and load up is extremely slow, my programs aren't loading as quick as they used to, for the past two days a lot of my programs have been freezing, including the entire computer screen where only my mouse is shown moving with my programs frozen and most of the time I get the "Not responding" in brackets on the left-hand corner of my programs. This all started occurring right after the Windows update was applied, so I uninstalled all updates made on that day and yet, the freezes and "Not Responding" problems still occur, you wanna know the funny part? It doesn't freeze as much when I have an Anti-Virus scanner running but then as soon as I end or finish my Anti-Virus scan, the freezes start to come back every 4-5 seconds, leaving me unable to play my computer games or do any tasks at all on my computer, so it leads me to believe that maybe I have some sort of malware/virus/trojan that happened to sneak onto my computer with the Microsoft updates, as I've not downloaded, installed or made any changes aside from the Microsoft Update. Any suggestions/ideas? It's really got my stumped, even moreso when the freezes occur my CPU usage is below 25% with my Physical memory being below 40% (Which was the usual % before this mess happened) and there are no strangely high processes running in the background in Task Manager while the freezes occur. I'll post anything needed, I just want to fix this issue because I highly doubt it's something to do with my computer dying, it's definitely something to do with the recent Microsoft Windows update.
