  1. Silfy, The developers do need a full log from you actually (just saw your post in the FP forum), a developers log as outlined in the directions A full log looks like this (however this log is clean so no detections present): Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.46 www.malwarebytes.org Database version: 4104 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 5/15/2010 1:26:28 PM mbam-log-2010-05-15 (13-26-28).txt Scan type: Quick scan Objects scanned: 125471 Time elapsed: 10 minute(s), 53 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: (No malicious items detected) And please see here on how to run the developer's log: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s...ost&p=11731 However, wait until requested from one of the developers to provide the additional information; if they need it for sure they will let you know; you don't want to post back in your own thread until you get a reply from one of the developers; this can make it look as though you are already getting help and take longer for you to get a reply. Thank you
  2. Well Slify, firstly, that is a detection from 2008 so if you haven't updated since the date of that old post then you should remove it (and if you indeed haven't updated since then you need to), otherwise if you do believe it to be a FP, please make a new post in the FP forum after following the directions here: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=3228
  3. Your other post was blank for me too. CCleaner site is working for me now, not sure if it just got back up or not. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds
  4. Best of luck to you with your studies!! Will miss you.
  5. I think what kangaroo was trying to say is that that is NOT a normal place for a legitimate .exe file to be and this is why Malwarebytes would have picked it up
  6. aerochago, C: is typically your hard drive and typically is named Local Disk. Firefox & Thunderbird is a program/application.
  7. Scary. @YoKenny1 I'd like a 69 'Vette Stingray
  8. Hello figmo, and welcome to the forums here at Malwarebytes.org Which program are you talking about, Malwarebytes? Do you have a usb/flash drive?
  9. You will be missed! Best of luck to you in life and your future endeavors.
  10. jnhyep57, You're welcome! Thank you for understanding It's in the best interest of both you and your helper Once finished, please do come back to this thread and we can assist you with your needs!
  11. jnhyep57, You have an open HJT/malware removal thread with Screen317. Please continue & finish with him and then we can pick up afterwards, as you should not be attempting to make any changes to your system during the malware removal process except those that he has you make. Thank you
  12. Hello jnhyep57, I wasn't suggesting that you shouldn't use a firewall necessarily, I was just saying that I do not have any personal recommendations and that I'm sure someone else can jump in here with one. I am glad that you don't have any P2P software on your machine Have you been infected in the last 6 months or so? Some people do run SAS and Mbam together in realtime and typically don't experience any troubles from doing so.
  13. Hello jnhyep57, and welcome to the forums here at Malwarebytes.org Unfortunately I don't have any firewall recommendations (I am sure that someone else will jump in with that though! ) but I am concerned that you are getting constant IP blocks. Do you have a p2p program running by any chance? (LimeWire, BitTorrent, Vuze, uTorrent, etc...?) As a side note, when replying, please use the "ADD REPLY" button located at the bottom of the page. Thank you
  14. @Catscomputer @#$%^&*@#% Google does NOT need to be taking pictures of people's houses... I find this entire thing completely and utterly disgusting....
  15. @Shy hehe, well if you are pigging out, it is a good thing to tell oneself I had some of my dark chocolate covered plum sweets today! I'm trying not to have more than one "serving size" a day, but we'll see if I succeed
  16. Hello saishoman and welcome to the forums here at Malwarebytes.org and thank you for your purchase Well, the website blocker would have blocked it, if that site was being blocked when the Website blocker was on, if it had not gotten unblocked TDSS is REALLY nasty, and new variants come out every so often... I recommend doing the following to make totally sure that you're clean: Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here. One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available. Please note that it may take 48 hours or more for you to receive a response in the malware removal forum, as it is often busy at times. Please do not reply to your own post asking for help unless its been more than 48 hours since you originally posted, as this can make it appear as though you are being helped and take longer for you to get help. If you are unable to do all or any of the steps in the link to the directions above, just post your problem into the forum I gave you a link to anyway and someone will be able to assist you. Also, when replying, please use the "ADD REPLY" button located at the bottom of the page, as this makes the forum easier to read. After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post. Thank you
  17. @Couposn Oo, do you mean like those bread-stick type things that are chocolaty? Or what do you mean? Sounds yummy either way!!!
  18. @ Shy yum!!! Dark chocolate is goood for you @goldhound Whatever floats your boat I guess
  19. @ Catscomputer Ah, very understandable!! I can understand not wanting chocolate with anything I however love chocolate both by itself and with other items mm mmm mmm!!
  20. YoKenny1, Oh my gosh, SO delicious! I'd forgotten about those momentarily, because I haven't had them very often I'll have to buy a kit, SO good!
  21. Happy Happy Birthday Enjoy your day!
  22. Hey branon, There have been some issues with Norton, however, as long as you have the latest program version installed & the proper exclusions set, you should be okay If you do come up with an issue, please don't hesitate to ask for assistance in the General Malwarebytes Anti-Malware forum. Norton 360 exclusions: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s...st&p=215158 AVG exclusions that apply to most other AV's as well: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?a...&pid=167851
