  1. bigbobbysd, That's alright, I wasn't sure if you thought that Mbam would detect cookies or not, that's why I asked. Hopefully you aren't getting anything dangerous caught in your scans & removals. What kinds of things is it finding, if I may ask? If you are unsure though or you want to check to see if you are clean; I am pasting my canned message below: Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here. One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available. Please note that it may take 48 hours or more for you to receive a response in the malware removal forum, as it is often busy at times. Please do not reply to your own post asking for help unless its been more than 48 hours since you originally posted, as this can make it appear as though you are being helped and take longer for you to get help. If you are unable to do all or any of the steps in the link to the directions above, just post your problem into the forum I gave you a link to anyway and someone will be able to assist you. Also, when replying, please use the "ADD REPLY" button located at the bottom of the page, as this makes the forum easier to read. After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post. Thank you
  2. Hey, this has nothing to do with this thread all4me123, but I was looking at your profile and I just wanted to make you aware in case you were not, that Malwarebytes is NOT an antivirus program, it is an antiMALWARE program. Kaspersky, however, is an excellent Antivirus choice (I see that you're using KIS).
  3. Perhaps you are lucky enough to not be infected with anything other than what your antivirus or other programs find Also Malwarebytes does not detect cookies. Is Avast! and/or your other programs finding cookies? Malwareybtes has not found anything on my machine in months either (actually not in nearly a year now) (Only found something a few times, other than that the hits were from benign items that I was testing). I have the paid version, so resident MBAM protection, AV protection, and a large HOSTS file. I keep all my programs up to date and am a careful web user, so with all of that it's unlikely that I'd get infected. Hopefully it's a similar situation for you! As a side note, when replying, please use the "ADD REPLY" button located at the bottom of the page. Thank you
  4. Greetings Matthew94 & welcome Did you install Malwarebytes and set the schedule whilst using an Administrator account?
  5. Thanks Keep me posted on their reply if you are able to - I'd be interested to know if it's been cleaned up or not.
  6. Also, David, When you have the silent scan run and the manual scan run - are you running both scan on the exact same account, or are you having the silent scan run on all accounts and running the manual scan on one account?
  7. Thanks for looking into it for me Steven No hurries. That's really too bad that it's on that range. Like I had said, I had no problems just a week ago and a few months before that, and now it's blocked, so I just thought that it was strange. Not a huge deal if I can't get to it, but it was a nice site to use, as a plus, no annoying ringtone ads that float over the page (those are on many lyric websites these days, it's too bad) and such... heh
  8. I am glad that this is all working out for you, DaleDoc. Kaspersky and Mbam are wonderful partners, in my opinion Looks like I may have a few settings to look over myself. And I have never had a conflict between IP Blocking and Kaspersky either
  9. Yay! Good luck and congratulations!!!
  10. I know you guys are busy and everything. I was just wondering if anyone has had a chance to look into this though, still getting an IP block this morning, same IP.
  11. I don't have access to a Vista machine right now but see if you can find a setting somewhere that specifies whether or not Malwarebytes should always be on top. This could be the reason for that happening, if such a setting was checked off in the Malwarebytes interface.
  12. Hehe I saw part of this one in a store recently...
  13. A little gross but... (that was for the last one, I just noticed the others)
  14. Let's hope it would be the latter Firefox, but you're right, time will tell
  15. Ehhh might this mean that they'll push for McAfee to be the (main) AV that comes with computers? :/
  16. I am getting IP block 94.75.221.140 on www.darklyrics.com I have HostsMan so I rarely see any advertisements anymore, so doubt that that is it. I also used it about three days ago and it worked just fine for me with no IP blocks, and I also used it about a month or two ago without any problems, which leads me to think it may just be a FP.
  17. I use KAV and I have added those three items to my Trusted Applications per Exile's recommendations and it runs beautifully on my system with Mbam
  18. I don't use W7 or Comodo or Avast!, but I do use Firefox 3.6.8 & Malwarebytes and no problems here.
  19. Awesome, thanks for letting us know
  20. That would be cool, and if I had an Andriod or a smartphone for that matter, I would use it
