  1. hi, today i updated malwarebytes to 2641 ran a scan and it flagged the GIMP graphics application installer .exe from http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ as an infection (Rogue Installer). this is quite strange as this exe has been sitting on my desktop for 2 weeks and several malwarebytes scans with no previous flags. can u have a look and tell me whether its real or an FP? cheers Steve Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.40 Database version: 2641 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 17/08/2009 5:57:11 PM mbam log file Scan type: Quick Scan Objects scanned: 94835 Time elapsed: 5 minute(s), 24 second(s) Memo

Registry Keys Infected: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\Dxdiag.exe (Security.Hijack) -> No action taken. which contains: C:\WINDOWS\System32\dxdiag.exe database version 2055 the dxdiag.exe file does appear to be exactly what it says it is. version 5.x of MS dxdiags from 2004 false positive? any info? cheers, Steve
