  1. Thank-you for the update Michael. If/when I want to shop at orvis again, I will either use MS Edge, where the problem stopped happening, or do as you suggested and temporarily disable ADS/TRACKERS. I think I've finished my holiday shopping for now. I appreciate your follow-up.
  2. I tried today on MS Edge and it added the item to my basket. I tried on Firefox and it did not. I started Firefox, went to orvis, logged in, brought up an item, clicked add to basket and nothing happened. There were no ads/trackers in red. Attached are the screenshots(2) and the log. 3. Thank-you Michael, I will try tomorrow. As I wrote, I am being rate limited and temporarily banned by that site. I believe the ban is for 24 hrs. Does the log start each day or each session with a particular browser? Appreciate your help.

  5. I ran into this issue on Tuesday, Nov 24, 2020. I checked today and it still happens. I was unable to add anything to my basket while shopping online at orvis.com. So far, this is the only site where I've had this problem. I can access the site and sign on but when I click on Add to Basket, nothing happens. I check the basket, it's empty. I've tried this on Firefox, Chrome and MS Edge with the same result. I attempted to contact the web site but questions get routed to the customer representatives. I have not been able to reach their tech support. I didn't find anything after a
  6. Not sure there was an actual problem in the first place but at least now I have everything up to date, my hard drive defragged, etc. Thanks again for your help.
  7. Yes, I hit the Cleanup button. After the cleanup, there's a prompt to reboot in order to complete the clean-up. Yes, Hidden Files is enabled.
  8. OTL requires a reboot. After the reboot my sytem loaded Malwarebytes with the same problem that started this thread; Enable malicious website blocking was unchecked and I was not able to check it. I rebooted again and it loaded with both boxes checked. I went to create a System Restore point per My Preventive Maintenance instructions and System Restore had been turned off. I hadn't done this so not sure which of these tools may have done it or how that setting got changed. I've turned it back on. I now have a folder "cmdcons(2)". This is the Recovery Console. I tried to rename it to "cm

  12. Was unable to use Add/Remove so could not get to any option to Repair. I downloaded the uninstaller from Avast's support site, used that to uninstall in Safe Mode and then downloaded and installed the latest version. What's the next step here? Is there more checking to do? Clean-up to remove programs, folders from the tools used?
  13. After reboot, the two options for Malwarebytes are checked. Avast shields are still disabled and I'm not able to re-enable them. Websites take a while to load.
  14. I don't think ComboFix is creating a restore point. I just went into System Restore and the only choice I had was "Restore Operation" with today's date and a timestamp of 10:21 AM. If you look at the posts, this is me doing the restore this morning (using the restore point I manually created before running the Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit). Since that was my only choice for today, I selected it and ran the restore. Afterwards, I went back into System Restore and I had two choices the the 10:21 Restore Operation and the 6:19 Restore Operation. What does ComboFix name it's restore point? After
  15. After rebooting, the machine seems slower (loading web pages takes longer, the logon to Skype took longer) and the option to Enable malicious website blocking, which had been checked before the reboot, is unchecked and I could not check it. I selected the Exit option from the context menu you get when you right-click on the Malwarebytes icon in the system tray and then relaunched the application from the Programs menu. When I looked at the Protection tab both the Enable file system protaction and the Enable malicious website blocking options were unchecked. I was then able to check them bot
