Has anyone experienced a call from Microsoft Technical Support regarding malware? Friday I received a phone call that my computers were sending error messages to Microsoft that their engineers believed were evidence of a virus attack. The proof of this was that they instructed me to open up my my computer manager and screen for errors and warnings. There were many of each listed on the event viewer applications. They tried to sell me on service cleaning and technical support to protect my computers, but I insisted on waiting. I already subscribe to malwarebytes and 2 other virus protection services. We have seen errors on windows internet explorer that blocked all functions until we deleted the windows website; but not on Firefox. Other overt signs of malware are not apparent and no new malware has been reported through malwarebytes. Jakeher7
