I did as instructed (almost). I ran MWAR and it found 4 malware infections cleaned them and reboot. That seemed to take care of the problems, no more notices from Avast about the redirects. I have yet to do the second scan, but I'm sure it will turn out fine. I will post the two text files tomorrow after the second scan. Thank you so much for your clear and concise help - you rock!!!
