  1. I have a computer that has Malwarebytes Pro on it. The antivirus is Vipre and the firewall is turned off due to the sonic firewall running. Last week an update to Malwarebytes was installed and when the computer was restarted the network drives could not be accessed. Net view would not work on for other machines. net view \\localpc worked but net view \\anypc would only freeze and I could not terminate the cmd session nor net.exe. I used the taskmanager and taskkill to no avail. Finally after a few hours I found that if I disabled MBAMService and MBAMScheduler then I could run net view and remap the drives. During the time of the outage I could ping other machines, I could ping the ailing pc. I could perform a net view to the ailing pc but not from it. Is there a way to fix this so that the service can continue to run. P.S. from this point on I will be accessing the machine remotely.
