MWB blocking: incoming, Port: 1433, Process: svchost.exe
in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Posted
Hi - I'm getting a bunch or IP BLOCK messages from IPs in China like this:
IP-BLOCK 115.239.229.232 (Type: incoming, Port: 1433, Process: svchost.exe)
All port 1433 and svchost
I'm not sure if this is just random scanning activity or a sign i have something on my box?
As my box is behind a router and I don't have port 1433 forwarded to the box with malwarebytes, I have no clue how this is getting through or how it is connected to svchost? I'm worried I have something on my box initiating a connection out and it is getting blocked coming back in? Has anyone seen this or can tell me if I have an issue?
Thanks
