Updates not working

I have the latest versions. I update manually as I am running this on a laptop and its not always connected. Running Windows 7 Home Premium. I have been running the updates everyday thhis week but am still getting a message saying my database is out of date. When I check it says I have the latest version but the message is still annoying. How do I fix this?
