Hi. After years of using the free version, I finally upgraded to 1.70 PRO this week and it works great except that it will no longer update properly. It downloads each update, but then gives me the following error code: PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (5, 0, MBAMFileIO::WriteFile) Zugriff verweigert [i.e. "Access is denied."?] I'm running Windows 7 Professional, 32-Bit (German edition), and also run Sophos Anti-Virus. I saw in a thread regarding 1.60 (http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=105555) that in such a case one should install mbam-clean-1.XX.exe, but the link in that post was for the 1.60 file. Is that still the best course of action, and if so is there an mbam-clean-1.70.exe available? Thanks for any help you can offer!
