[Forums Search Not Working]

I'm surprised that Google's search of your forums would be more reliable then your own. Seems very odd, to me. But I don't know much about these things.

I am learning about the differences between MB and AV programs. My AV software doesn't find them either (Avast). But when I did a right click on one of the lnk's, Avast popped up to say it was malware and it was blocked. So I guess I can just delete them.

[Forums Search Not Working]

Several problems:

1. I have discovered three malware files on a network storage device: myporno.avi.lnk, pornmovs.lnk, and setup1911.lnk

2. Malwarebytes does not detect them as malware -- even when scanned directly.

3. When I searched all forums for information on "myporno.avi.lnk", I get no results. But I have searched on Google and found at least one (worthless) mention of that malware in a forum posting. (http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=79452).

So, it appears that MB and MB's forums search are not working properly.
