I'm only able to attach the fixlog. I tried running ESET, but it keeps closing when its updating the system module; it always starts at 0% everytime I start it. I had this issue in the past with ESET. Did you want me to run something else?

And this was the error message when ESET kept crashing.

  2. Hi All,

I started having issues after updating to Malwarebytes 5.0 premium (or maybe it's just coincidence when I updated to MWB 5.0). Not sure if it's malware or maybe I'm having hardware or software issues. I ran hitman pro and KVRT after malwarebyes, and they found nothing.

The issues I been having recently after the update:

    1) Wallpaper switched itself to Dynamic this week when I rebooted... I was on static/general wallpaper for 6 months.

    2) Network connection is a little spotty on/off. Normal web browsing will work, but connection to discord or gaming servers gives me errors. I tried resetting the router, but that didn't help. Only a fresh PC reboot helps. Happened several a few times.

    3) When sometimes logging in Windows 11, after entering my PIN, the screen stays black. I tried ctrl-alt-del or have to press it multiple times to get something to pop up, but won't reset unless i do a hard reset. or sometimes if I wait long enough (5 mins) it will go into windows screen.

I formatted my computer 6 months ago off a fresh usb to move windows to a new USB, since the prior SSD drive was over 10 yrs old; did error checking on the hew SSD--no issues.

Also, I was trying to do a fresh Win 11 install again, but my Windows 11 USB boot drive wouldnt read on boot. Found out the USB drive died..so this had my mind wondering a little.

    Thanks.

  3. I'm having this issue in Google Chrome. I think the issue is with the February 19, 2024 update, since it just started happnening today for me.

I have both ublock origin and browserguard installed. I was able to replicate the issue by scrolling repeatly through youtube--scrolling pages and pages of videos..and it would load a video. It was making me paranoid, but it went away after disabling/removing malwarebytes browserguard.

Also had issues with the audio too..but i had to click through multiple videos to trigger it.

All the issues are gone after removing the extension (browserguard). I only have 2 extension installed MB and Ublock Origin.

  4. Thanks for the help.

I did check right now with the smart app event log or the "CriticalDiagErrors.txt" and the message (below) is growing much longer after the reset.

Mainly this one "Code Integrity determined that a process (\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe) attempted to load \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\mbae64.dll." with sometimes svchost.exe popping in instead of chrome.

I think it could a Chrome issue? Because I'm having no code integrity messages with Firefox or Edge. Should I stop using Chrome for now; are the MWB active shields not protecting when I'm browsing with Chrome, based on the messages?

  5. Hi All,

I'm getting quite a few of these messages in my event log. Is this normal or can I ignore it? I had this issue before I formatted my computer, and I'm still having this issue after I formatted my computer today. I did not format my pc because of this issue--was having some other issues with Windows 11.

Sort of concerned whether if this is preventing the active protection from MWB.

Many of the messages are usually the ones listed below:

Code Integrity determined that a process (\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe) attempted to load \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\mbae64.dll that did not meet the Microsoft signing level requirements.

Code Integrity determined that a process (\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Windows\System32\svchost.exe) attempted to load \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\mbae64.dll that did not meet the Microsoft signing level requirements.

    Thanks

  6. Sorry for spamming more :(, but I did notice the key that was being detected as trojan in its data string had "No value set". and the subfolder of that key was MergedFolder...also with no value set. I don't recall anything else--is there a way to get or restore the information of the key I deleted with MBAR?

I think I need to take a chill pill and stop spazzing out sorry lol.
