Hi, On my laptop PC (Win 7) I am able to access the internet with everything just fine. However on the same wired connection, with my desktop PC (Win 7), using Chrome or Firefox (I do not use IE), I am only barely able to get onto the internet. E.g. Opening either browser will result in my Google search homepage taking around 30 seconds or much longer to load, or never loading the page at all. However I never receive any message saying "Unable to load page" or anything to that end; the browser will simply endlessly try to load any page, and if it does successfully load, it will load it very, very slowly. Also Windows Update will not update; it just sits there trying and trying, with no progress. Some things, however, can apparently make some sort of connection; MBAM and my antivrus seem to be able to update their definitions, also my desktop weather widget seems to populate weather information and my Network Meter widget registers a connection on its graph, but only in the very low kilobytes per second, to not at all. MBAM doesn't pick up anything and neither does my antivirus. I've run quick, full, and flash scans with MBAM and have no unusual results. The desktop PC seems to otherwise function fine other than not being able to get a legitimate browser or Windows Update connection. Is there something else I can do to check and fix the browsers or Windows Update? mbam-log-2012-12-27 (02-37-03).txt
