  2. Hey miekiemoes, thanks for the fast reply. I've done as you've said and the problem is still there after I reboot and re-scan. Any suggestions?
  3. Ok, so my GF messed up my laptop one day and I'm usually pretty good and cleaning viruses etc. Anyway Malwarebytes with combo fix, HJT, smitrem, sdfraud, adaware, spybot s&d.. Still cant remove the following: O2 - BHO: (no name) - {926A6F35-EB5F-4558-A18C-36F318562735} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\audiosr.dll (file missing) Registry Values Infected: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Settings\bf (Trojan.Agent) -> Delete on reboot. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Settings\bk (Trojan.Agent) -> Delete on reboot. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Settings\iu (Trojan.Agent) -> Delete on reboot. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Settings\mu (Trojan.Agent) -> Delete on reboot. (Never actually deletes on reboot.) So I got angry and booted into linux and deleted all the .dll files that were infected, thats stopped the virus doing anything with popups and the usual annoying stuff, but I cant clean the above entries. Also note audiosr.dll was deleted in linux. I'm at the point where I'm thinking I should look into editting the windows registry via linux. I've tried manually changing the reg keys in regedit with no luck too. Can someone please give me another idea? I've done all the usual stuff (have a few years experience repairing PC's) Hoping someone has removed this before, I never actually bothered to note the name of the virus .... Any help would be great Thanks
