Okay so basically when i try to enter safe mode, my mouse lights up, my keyboard lights up, everything runs but my monitor does not come on, it's just blank with the display light flashing. I'll try the link.

I'm sorry but I can't get to safe mode for some reason. I rebooted my computer while spamming F8 but when i did that, my monitor didn't come on. I had to force shut it before it could start up normally again.

Hi MrC, I downloaded the file and did what you said but a notepad popped up saying this ' UNSUPPORTED OPERATING SYSTEM! ABORTED!'

It's alright now. So is my computer clean now? haha!

Hi, I recently downloaded 2 programmes, bestvideodownloader at http://www.bestvideodownloader.com/ and paretologic's data recovery As a result, my homepage has been changed to http://www2.mystart.com/?pr=vmn&id=yolobartb&v=1_0&ent=hp I've tried to remove it but realised that i've been infected through googling. Recently, my startup page was changed to 'http://www2.mystart.com/?pr=vmn&id=yolobartb&v=1_0&ent=hp' After repeatedly trying to change my startup page and searching on google for solutions, i found out that my computer's infected. I recently downloaded 2 programmes, best video downloader - http://www.bestvideodownloader.com/ And paratelogic data recovery - http://paretologic-data-recovery.en.softonic.com/ I can't really remember which was the one that gave me this problem though. I've run scans with malwarebytes already but not malicious items have been found. I need help, please! Thank you!
