fbi virus

My laptop is infected with the fbi money pak virus i can use the computer in safe mode but not with networking When i start it in safe mode with networking the screen is frozen in the FBI page.I have anti malwarebytes installed on the computer but when it is run in safe mode it wont find the virus. I downloaded the latest version of antimalwarebytes onto a portable hard drive and tried to run it on my infected laptop but it doesnt find the virus.
