  1. As long as your definitions are not v2013.04.15.12, it is safe to re-enable protection.
  2. Edgor, Is your system running Windows XP? If Exile's instructions do not work, please try installing this file from Microsoft. It should reinstall comctl32.dll onto your system.
  3. maxbarjr, I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with your computer freezing. Could you elaborate a little bit about the issue you are having so we can look further into the problem? I have a couple of questions for you. You were seeing this with the latest version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO (1.70.0.1100) and the latest version of BitDefender Total Defense 2013? When the freeze occurred, was this during the startup of the laptops right as it loaded into Windows or after everything had been loaded and you left the system idle for a set amount of time. Do you have any other Anti-Virus or Anti-Malware program installed? With your added information I can look further into your problem and see if there is anything we can do to help.
  4. Hello! I have been looking into this and wanted to get some additional information. 1) How are you setting up the pings? Is this the VM pinging the physical machine running it or is it the opposite? 2) Are you using windows ping in cmd.exe to test the latency issues or another method? 3) When you see the increase from 1 ms to 10 ms, is it consistently going up to 10 or is this rare? Could you give the output from your ping tests?
  5. In order to attach files you click on the button on the bottom right of your reply called "More Reply Options". After you will be taken to a new screen and you can attach files by clicking on the button "Choose Files" at the bottom.
  6. If you install version 1.70.0.1100 and uncheck the option "Update Malwarebytes Anti-Malware" at the end of the installation, as shadowwar said, your database will be the one bundled with the installer. The database version that came with that installer is v2012.12.14.11 which looks like the version you had upgraded from. Maybe after you installed you had not updated Malwarebytes Anti-Malware right away? Does this continue to happen even after you update to the latest database?
  7. Wide Glide, Did you change any settings for that scheduled scan (for example, Heuristics Sensitivity)? What kind of scheduled scan was it (quick or full)? Again, thank you for your cooperation.
  8. Wide Glide, Is Avast catching MBAMSwissArr through any kind of scan or is it from one of their real-time shields? Also, in what order did you install each software? Thank you for being so cooperative
  9. What version of Avast! was this on? Was this from upgrading from a previous version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware or installing it fresh without any previous version being installed? Also, what OS are you using?
