  1. I´ve seen for example that Norton offers a paid version of an AntiTrack extension to a webbrowser, which appears to be identical in performance to MB Browserguard. However, the Norton AntiTrack costs 56 US dollar annually . The same goes for AVG AntiTrack which appears to have the same features as the MB Browserguard, but it costs 66 US dollar annually. Are these worth the money? Are their above mentioned browser and antitrackers superior to MB Browserguard, which happens to be free? If one use MB Browserguard and Firefox with the right settings preventing Web Rtc leaks and besides of that use an VPN,then it should pretty much cover those supposed leaks/advertiser blocks rather then spending those extra dollars? What do you think?
  2. I saw the updated release history today. Nothing especially new. Just App translations for some languages.
  3. Not an big issue at all realy, but after 4.4.9 Malwarebytes version,it says that i have Windows Firewall turned on. I dont have. I have a different firewall. What makes Malwarebytes shows that i have the Windows Firewall on,when i dont have it?Just qurious
  4. When checking the Malwarebytes browser guard for my Firefox browser,i noticed i have the 2.3.11 version. :) Its not on the release history page yet https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408173502995-Malwarebytes-Browser-Guard-2-3-10-Release-Notes I wonder what upgrades/bugfixes this version contains?
  5. Dont know where to post this. Delete or move to where it is most suiatble. After upgrading to the 1.0.1273 Version,Malwarebytes gives false positives. I belives that the Cooking Fever app in Windows 10 is pup and puts it in to quarantine. Then i have had issues with reaching my internet connection. I use VPN,but Malwarebytes has never had any issues with that before. It appears that Malwarebytes is blocking it. I uninstalled Cooking Fever since i never using it,and reboot the computer a couple of times. Looks stable right now. Just saying that you might look these things over, thanks.
  6. I´ve uninstalled the Daemon Tools lite now,and it looks like Malwarebytes works perfectly without it. I think the questions i asked is answered. I get back if issues occurs, but for now i think i found the answers in this topic.
  7. Thanks! 🙂 I have not now any issues with Malwarebytes,so thats why i asked if it is necessary or not to have it installed. Then i will delete this file. Hope the system does not crash now.🙂
  8. I´ve done some research through earlier topics, but i cant find any clear answer to this. I apologize for this if i missed something. Is Daemon tools lite a program that is necesary for Malwarebytes to work properly? Is it something that comes together when one installs Malwarebytes, and if i uninstall it,will Malwarebyes still work? One folder that i have says mbst-grab-result. What does that mean?
  9. But after contacing Zone Alarm suport team, they say that the issue is not theirs. I uninstalled Zone Alarm Extreme Security Suite Before doing Clean uninstal of Malwarebytes, and then installing Malwarebytes again. Then i turned on Zone Alarm Extreme Security Suite. Yet the issue remains.
  10. Can you please help me how to uninstal Kaspesky, and then Utilze defender?
  11. After uninstaling Malwarebytes and installing it again witout the Malwarebytes Ransomare i, again receive the following issue(see atchment). It does not help disble the Ransomware protection. What shall i do now?
  12. Yes,but Malwarebytes is depending under Kaspersky. It is the Kaspersky that is causing my issue, and Malwarebytes is depening under them. The Malwarebytes support admits it is so the case for me themselves.
  13. Thanks! Then i see. if understand it tight,It looks like Kasperky is the first provider of all Antivirus/Antimalware Engines regardless of what product one choose, and all are depentend in some way or another with them.
  14. Sounds good! Hope to see a security patch been released soon from Kaspersky that solves the issue. One learns more from time to time. I did not think that Kaskpersky was so powerful giving influence over other Antivirus/anti Malware Products. What about Malwarebytes creating an own indenpendent engine so they dont have to rely to other providers,to prevent possible further future issues?
  15. I now have done this procedure. I installed Malwarebytes again and disable the Ransomware Protection. Now it appears that the system works. This is good for me, who have a back up program that protects me against Ransomware.,but how aout all other users who rely on Malwarebytes Ransomware Protection, and does not have any back up product who protects them from Ransomware and rely on Malwarebytes who cant deliver the protection that the custuomer pays for? Are you going to release a patch soon that fix this issue?
  16. Ok. So fix the issue for now the best way is to run a clean install of Malwarebytes, then install it again and leaving ransonware proctetion disabled. I then instead rely of my Zone Alarm Anti-Ransomeware protection enabled, until you at Malwarebytes has resolved the issue and releasing a new verison that excludes the issues?
  17. Ok! I see. Can you guide me how to solve the issue then?
  18. I already read this thread. I could disable Malwarebytes Ransomware Protection, and instead rely on Zone Alarm Anti Ransomware, but that does not give a solution of the problem. Then there is a halfway solution. Why are Malwarebytes releasing a new 4.0 product while they cant live up to what they sell? I am not a computer engineer, just an average user. The possible issues should be solved before releasing a new product. I want to use Malwarebytes Ransomware protection. If it does not work, then Malwarebytes admit they cant perform what they sell. Remember that many users have different Antivirus security products installed on their devices, and Malwarebytes should be able to be compatible with these.
  19. I agree fully, but i dont receive any helpful solution from Malwarebytes. They say that the issue is caused by a conflict with Kaspersky. They provided a link to Kaspersky issues, but i cant find any helpful information in it how to solve my issue.
  20. I already started a ticket for this problem, but i have received no solution to the problem. Since i upgraded to Malwarebytes 4.0(lifetime license) several issues occurs. First Malwarebytes cant read the Anti-Rootkit drive rutine. Then the scan stops while scaning with an error message(see attachments). Its written in Swedish, but i think you understand what i mean anyway. I have contacted the Malwarebytes support, and download the Malwarebytes Support Tool (MBST) Clean Uninstall, and performed a clean uninstall. Yet the issue remains. I am using Zone Alarm Extreme Security, and have disable it while doing the process, but it does not help solving the issue. Does anyone have any ideas what can be done to solve this issue?
  21. I have been using Malwarebytes and Zonealarm Antivirus and firewall for years, without conlflict. However,i dont think its a good idea to run MB and ZA anti ransomeware at the same time, might causing issues. Can you(or any other) please provide me with some links showing test results which one stands up against ransomware best? At Youtube there a few years old videos, showing MB failure. The same goes for ZA. No new videos showing actual up to date testings.
  22. I have Malwarebytes Premium,in which Anti-ransomware protection are included. I use Zone Alarm as antivirus and firewall, and in the latest release, Zone Alarm included their own anti-ransomware for free. Which one of these two are the best? Is there indepentent tests performed proving which Product which is the best? One can not use two anti-ransomware at the same time, causing conflict as i understand.
  23. I decided to uninstall Zone Alarm anti-ransomware and instead use the Malwarebytes anti-ransomware. So far i have not been attacked by ransomware. I was hoping to hear some feedback how effective Malwarebytes anti-ransomware are from someone who has been attacked and how well it defeated/stood up against the ransomware.
